INFLUENCES BOOK

Prompt: Describe, define and curate the objects, events and idiosyncrasies that inspire you as a graphic designer. Catalog and organize your collection. Develop a curatorial point of view based on your collection. Design a 100 page 6" x 9" publication presenting your design influences. Your curatorial perspective will define your publication’s form and format. Develop an editorial system based on this curatorial concept; your system should include strategies for working with text and image.

Response: The contents of the book are things that I usually think can relax my mind, such as beautiful colors, landscapes, lovely animals, illustrations, and some poems I like. When I feel tired, I will feel more relaxed when I see pictures and words like those in the book. The purpose of this book is to hope other designers like me can bring them some good ideas and a relaxed mood when they are tired.
